WHO ARE WE, AND WHAT ARE OUR AIMS?
Kennel Gripen is a small breeding establishment specializing in an exclusive breed from the
Czech Republic, the Prazsky Krysarik or Prague Ratter. We are based in a small rural coastal town on the West coast of Sweden, where forests and sea are part of our dogs´ environment.We pride ourselves in only breeding from healthy dogs that have been evaluated in accordance with the Czech breed standard. This breed evaluation known as Bonitation, is done in The Czech Republic, Prazky Krysariks homeland. Our aim is to excel in the show rings, both in the domestic and international arenas. We are not only concerned about the physical health of our dogs but want them to be of a balanced and happy character!
Our family consists of Anna, Peter and our children Jim, Christoffer, Andreas and Jesper, where Jesper is our Kennels Junior handler. We are the proud owners of fourteen Prague Ratters (Prazsky Krysariks) consisting of six females and eight males.
We live on the Westcoast of Sweden approx 40 Km South of Swedens second largest town Göteborg (Gothenburg), in a small coastal town called Åsa. This area consists of forrests, sandy beaches and cliffs that rolls into the sea. We take special care in presenting this environment to our four legged friends, where long walks in the forrest and salty baths in the sea are included "Where we go, our pack follows"
Currently, we are the most successful kennel in the show ring arenas in the Nordic region.
